Changes

Hello my lovelies,

I'm gonna be honest and I will admit I missed that kind of blogging that I used to do in in 2009-2011 that was my favorite blogging years. I would post at least once a week minimum, sometimes even a few times a day. And now? I consider myself lucky if I post twice in a month. I remember when I would go to all of my favorite blogs and get upset if I didn't go to Stockholm Street Style a few times a day. I used to post outfit of the week, music of the moment links all the time. And to be honest I would love to get back to that older routine I used to have. I even missed my annual birthday post of the year.

Yes I've turned 20 the first day of September. Frankly I was really sad about it, because I didn't get to celebrate it and I felt like I left my teenage years behind and stepped into adulthood. I also got some really important news. I got into university. I still need to figure out a lot of stuff so I'm not getting into details, but I'm going to say that I got into the subject I wanted- Fashion communication and styling and I feel really happy, excited and honestly just really overwhelmed by it.

Also this means a lot of lifestyle changes and getting out of the rut I'm in. Work, TV shows spending too much money on stuff I don't need and fashion magazines, also sometimes socializing on the better days of my mood. I admit I hate my rut and I am afraid to step out of my comfort zone, but we all know that you truly get to live when you leave your comfort circle.

So since I like to keep my word I wanna show you what inspiration I'm getting at the moment and what inspires me to continue writing:

So currently I love mixing preppy with tomboy with rock chick and with a bit of Cara into my wardrobe and I end up looking really good one day and the next I can come across as boring or mismatched. But that's the thing I love about London, no one cares how you look and you can express yourself which ever way you like. And here are some of my favorite recent looks from the streets.

One of my favorite musical ladies at the moment is miss Iggy Azaelea, I just love everything about her. She is an Australian who can rap has really interesting look and style and her listening to her music gives me some sort of boost that inspires me to be more confident.

Also I just can't not share the lovely Cara in her latest editorial for Vogue Australia Image and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPicImage and video hosting by TinyPic

And also since it's Autumn and everything in my life is changing I want to change something about myself. I still love my ombre hair but I want to do something different. I was thinking of dip dying the blond ends pink. What do you guys think?

I feel so much better writing again. Wish you all the best of the rest week.

Best of 2012

Hello my lovelies. Like every year since 2009 I decided to do the same to write my best of 2012 post. While thinking of ideas this made me realize that I actually been blogging for a long time and my small losses of interest sometimes are reasonable due to the amount of time I've been doing this for. I also promised myself that this week I'm gonna write my personal statement and apply to universities, but at least now I decided firmly what I'm going to study so it's going to be easier. Ok so now let's get to my favorite's:

Model of the year: Cara Delevingne

I know I know everyone loves her. She is all over the place. The face of everything winning model of the year at Elle style awards and so on, but I had a lady crush on this girl since the first time I saw her with her sister Poppy in a magazine article and then in Burberry with her stunning blue eyes bushy eyebrows and long blond hair. And not to mention that she has a great and interesting street style.

Shoe of the year: The platform sneaker Everyone got obsessed with the Isabel Marant platform sneaker and prettier and prettier versions were all over London this year from little girls to middle aged women everyone wanted a pair this year.

Favorite trend: One piece suits. I was just amazed with head to toe floral suits and same pattern blazers with shorts pants or skirts, so I can easily call it my favorite trend.

Music discovery of the year: James Arthur I am actually happy my mom made me download her the auditions of the British X factor because after it I got hooked on the show like a maniac. And it's because of the amazing James Arthur who made me cry after every song from the first time I saw him. I know I would have never watched x factor again if he wouldn't have won the show. Enjoy:
Best music video's of 2012: Lana Del Rey- Ride
 Lana Del Rey- National Anthem
Calvin Harris feat. Tinie Tempah- Drinking from the bottle
Rihanna- Diamonds

Tulisa- Sight Of You
I hope you all enjoyed my list and I hope you all have amazing 2013 and fulfill all your new year's resolutions.

Lots of love Amanda xxx
